You can provide up to three text-enabled phone numbers via CIS. Log in to CIS at cis.utah.edu, and click on the Campus Alert link. Enter your mobile phone numbers in the text-enabled phone number fields. Be sure to press the Save button when you are done.
Please note that text messages can become lost or slow during busy times, so we encourage you to enter at least one voice messaging contact.
After you sign up online, the Campus Alert service will automatically send a text message to your mobile phone to confirm your request.
The confirmation message will read the following:
University of Utah: You are now confirmed to receive alerts from us. More info text reply "HELP" or "STOP UU" to opt-out. Msg&data rates may apply.
